Share The Love Event

We know our owners care. That's why we created the "Share the Love" event. Get 0% financing on select models, and we'll donate $250 to your choice of five charities. With your help, we've donated nearly $15 million to charity over the past three years. We hope to donate another five million by sharing the love again this year.

American Forests protects and restores forests and is the oldest conservation nonprofit in the country. Our planet's health depends on forests to provide clean air, clean water and habitat for wildlife. For every $250 donated to American Forests through the "Share the Love" event, they will plant 200 trees to help support a cooler, greener, healthier world for generations to come.
The ASPCA® has been the voice for animals for 145 years, providing relief, care, and service to those in need. Whether it's rescuing animals from abuse, introducing and enforcing more humane legislation or supporting shelter communities, each donation furthers efforts to help animals live better lives.
When kids with life-threatening medical conditions are granted their one true wish, they get the strength to keep fighting. Their families come back together. And lives get better for everyone involved. Each donation to Make-A-Wish Foundation® helps grant more wishes to kids.
Meals On Wheels Association of America provides meals and nutrition services to the elderly, working with thousands of local Meals On Wheels programs and nearly two million volunteers. Each donation aids their mission to end senior hunger.
Special Olympics provides people with intellectual disabilities the opportunity to develop physical fitness, realize their potential and experience friendship and acceptance. Each donation to Special Olympics helps transform lives through the joy of sports.

FAQ's

How do I select the charity or charities I want to receive the donation?: You can make your charity selection on subaru.com/share, by calling 1-800-SUBARU3, or by filling out a self-addressed, prepaid envelope provided by your dealer. You will be asked to provide your name, contact information, Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) and charity selection. Subaru will then make the donation on your behalf. Visit http://www.subaru.com/share to learn more about the program and each of the five participating charities.
What if I want to split the donation (i.e. select more than one charity) or vote more than once?: Each customer who has purchased or leased a new Subaru (2011 or 2012) can either allocate the $250 donation to one charity, or split it amongst any number of the five charities. Only one donation (of $250) is made per vehicle sale or lease.
How long do I have to make the charity selection?: While we encourage customers to make their charity selection at the dealership at the time of purchase, selections will be accepted through January 31, 2012.
I bought a car, but forgot to submit my charity selection. Where does the money go?: For those who do not make their charity selection by January 31, 2012, Subaru will distribute the donation evenly among the five charities.
How will I know that the donation was made?: You will receive a 'thank you' letter from Subaru and the five charities once all of the submissions have been processed. Customers who do not make their charity selection by January 31, 2012 will receive a letter from Subaru thanking them for their purchase.
By what date will Subaru make the donations to each charity? How much money is expected to be donated?: Subaru will make the donation to each charity by March 1, 2012. During last year's "Share the Love" event, Subaru donated $5 million, and Subaru is hoping to donate up to $5 million again this year.
Do I get a tax credit for this donation?: Because the donation is being made by Subaru each of the participating charities, donations are not tax-deductible to purchasers.

*Subaru will donate $250 for every new Subaru vehicle sold or leased from November 19, 2011 through January 3, 2012 to one of the following five charities: American Forests, ASPCA®, Make-A-Wish Foundation®, Meals On Wheels Association of America and Special Olympics; with a minimum guaranteed donation of $250,000 to each charity, and up to $5,000,000 total.
